The paper, included in the Multi-Species Anthropology session and entitled\u00a0<em>Ilpuli leCorona: Maasai meat camps at the intersection of Pentecostalism and a pandemic<\/em>, argues that the pandemic brought Maasai pastoralists closer to their animals and pastoralism, and examines the ways in which the Maasai institution of\u00a0<em>olpul<\/em>\u00a0(meat camp) was revived during the COVID-19 lockdown.
