{"id":5655,"date":"2022-11-01T13:43:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-01T13:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/myna-project.cei.iscte-iul.pt\/?p=5655"},"modified":"2025-04-25T06:10:49","modified_gmt":"2025-04-25T06:10:49","slug":"myna-team-members-participate-in-the-covid-19-in-drylands-conference-in-kenya","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/myna-project.cei.iscte-iul.pt\/index.php\/2022\/11\/01\/myna-team-members-participate-in-the-covid-19-in-drylands-conference-in-kenya\/","title":{"rendered":"MYNA team co-organizes the\u00a0COVID-19 in Drylands Conference\u00a0in Kenya"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MYNA researchers Angela, Troy, Joana, Batbuyan, Lenaai and Stanley, together with other members of the COVID-19 in Drylands Working Group and supported by a grant from the University of Bayreuth&#8217;s&nbsp;<em>Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence<\/em>, co-organized and participated in the&nbsp;<em>COVID-19 in Drylands Conference<\/em>&nbsp;in the Maasai Mara, Narok County, Kenya (October 10-14th, AA Lodge, Sekenani).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Maasai Mara is home to Stanley, a MYNA co-researcher, who organized several of the conference&#8217;s events.
