On November 11th, 2024, MYNA team members Stanley, Richard, Lenaai and Batbuyan, and CRIA-Iscte’s Júlio Sá Rego were invited speakers in the Roundtable: A conversation on mobile pastoralism in Kenya, Mongolia and Portugal hosted by the University of Lisbon’s Instituto Superior de Agronomia and co-organized with Miguel Bugalho (Centro de Ecologia Aplicada, ISA). This event, an offshoot of the Pastoralism in Transition symposium, featured a lively exchange of questions and answers, knowledge and experiences among Kenyan pastoralists, specialists of Mongolian and Portuguese pastoralism and the audience, highlighting differences and similarities across the three pastoral systems.
